Disappering Workunits after --update_prefs

Hello,

I changed Prefs to "connect every 6 days" last friday because I had no internet connection during the weekand.
Then I did an "--update_prefs" on both my computers to get enough work and 8 workunits were loaded.

After changing prefs back to "connect every day" today I did an "--update_prefs" again and neither the finished workunits where uploaded nor the unfinished where kept, but 8 new workunits were downloaded.

The unfinished workunits still appear as in progress in my result overview, but are not longer on the computer. Also the computer appeard 3 times in the overview, which I corrected with the "merge computers" function.

After that I took a look at the sched_request_foo.xml and found that there was no host-id set, but I don't no why. I set the right host-id by hand now.

Is there anything I can do to get these workunits back, and is the missing host-id an explaination for my problems??

Both computers run gentoo/linux with 2.6.10 kernel and current boinc-version
