At the moment, my G4 (Comp ID 719957) is crunching l1_093.0_S5R1__288_S5R1a_2.
I cannot see this WU in my queue.
Nor can I see the preceding one ... one of the same series ... which took me 18 hours to crunch. It has disappeared into the ether.
Where can I find evidence of the preceding WU?
Is this one going to disappear also? ... with the consequent loss of 36 hours of computing?

Disappeared Work Unit

It is the only one it is crunching this WU. It's one of the big WUs, which break itself into parts, so the _2 is the 2nd part of this.

Hello PB .... The other half

Hello PB ....
The other half of that WU has finished and it too has disappeared. I have no record of it anywhere in my stats ... no record that it (or either of them) ever passed through my machine!. Nothing in my pending file ...
I just do not understand ...

What is crunching on that

What is crunching on that box, now? Everything gets put into the original file, after each piece is done, then when the single file is uploaded and report, you get the credit (or pending credit).

From this side it looks like you are still crunching that unit.

nope ... this one crunching

nope ... this one crunching now was the next in the queue .
The last 2 WU's have disappeared. They are not in the Pending Credit file and they do not show in the Results file for this computer.
They have disappeared as though they never existed and I have crunched 2 WU's for 36 hours for nothing!
That WU that you looked at yesterday (the one with the " _2" tagged onto the end ... which you said was indicating that it was a part of a very long WU ... well it has disappeared. As did the one before it, which presumably was the first part of the split WU.
You saw that WU ... well it has gone. The one crunching now is the one that was in the queue after the one that disappeared. This one has only been crunching for3 Hrs 10 minutes. It still has 13 hours 44 minutes to go.

I think you talk about this WU...
You have to 'scroll' down your WU list... I don't know exactly why this WU is at that position in your WU list... In this case it is beause it is a resent WU (one which has been timed out by an other cruncher)...
