Hmmmm ..... does the error on this thread relate to this thread and/or this one too, do you think? The error code 0xC0000005 is familiar, and appears on Windows 2000 or XP machines with SP's installed, and also seems to be a permission thingy. Or just happenstance/numerology.......
Cheers, Mike.
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

It seems that error code was caused by me removing permission from the ASP.Net "user" to log on to my system. I seem to have corrected that problem... but, yes it definately is strange that they are both "05" errors.
I also have Boinc working. I ended up uninstalling it, and reinstalling on a different drive. Both are local hard drives, both have plenty of free space, and both (should) have the same permissions. However, it works on one and not the other... go figure.

I don't think so. But... Something has come up on the Seti Beta forum that may explain the second error. The error -1073741819 looks to be a corrupt project jpeg logo.
I'll run it past Walt, to see if this could also be the problem for Einstein (although there's no separate jpeg file in the folder, it could be the screensaver itself)

As for new drivers, it's an Intel 865PE chipset, so you may want to check out the new drivers by Intel.

This error usually is related to an issue with Kaspersky antivirus software as we discovered with our RNA World DC project.
