It this a known problem ?
It looks for me like an application related problem.

Could you please point me to the result these lines have been taken from (your computers are hidden)?

Don't really know if it's an appication error, though the error code it had may lean in that direction I think. I had an error on a task with a Windows box that errored out at the end like yours recently too. Mine had an access violation.

I was given advice to check my hardware, especially for heat issues, and was also told that particular task might have had a bug.

I guess it's possible yours is a bug, might even be related to the error I had, though I only had the one error and have crunched two others since successfully. I guess I'd give the same advice to check your hardware too, until someone indicates something with more insight into the cause.

All other BOINC projects

All other BOINC projects validates every WU. Also, every WU errors out at about 99.9 to 100%. So I did not think that it is a hardware issue.

Have you had success running an Einstein task since those two tasks had errors?

One thing I would suggest, though I have no information this would be the cause of this particular error, in your BOINC Manger settings for Processor Usage under "Use at most X% cpu time" should be set to 100% if it's not already. Having it set to anything else is known to cause errors on multi cpu systems.

This sounds like one of the

This sounds like one of the problems that were fixed between the time that the S5R4 app for Mac was released and the release of the S5R5 app. Once this Mac has run out of S5R4 tasks it will automatically download the S5R5 app which will hopefully cure this problem.
