I've tracked down some updated information on their server status. They were hoping to have it back online by this evening UK time. Looks like that was optimistic as it is now early Tuesday morning there.

They've always had problems w/their server, and having the staff to run it, so much so, that I gave up on them, because of the fustration.

OTOH, server downtime at climatepredicto.net is not as severe as with other projects, because their Wrkunits run extremely long (months!). So you really HAVE to conact the server only once every few month. It's just for "convenience" that you get intermediate credits by uploading "trickles" every day or so. If the server is down, he trickels will be buffered and will upload once he server is bak again.
