I'm running BOINC under Linux. I can't seem to get it to work. I keep getting error code 500. I have a router and turned off the firewall, and the problem still persisted. I set the DMZ attribute to my IP, and still the same. I can't figure out what the problem could be!?! Can anyone help me out?

Could you *please* post the messages here. It is simply to determine
which BOINC version you are running, what you have done to provoke the error,
what other projects you are running, if you are using any optimized clients and much more.

That is good.
That is bad. I checked the E@H scheduler logs and found the following strange entry.
(This assumes I got your timezone right and your system clock is not far off; timeanddate says EDT is UTC-4.)
It looks like the scheduler request is corrupt. As to what can cause this I have no idea. Could you retry, so I can recheck the scheduler logs?
Can you attach, or are you attached, to other projects?
Michael
PS: After looking at the scheduler log again I noticed:
That was no BOINC client, but a perl module. Someone up to sth. nasty?

Ok, down at the Trend Micro site ( it's the one I use ) you'll find this and that about that little sucker.
You need an AV scan....
Cheers, Mike.

I did a virus scan using ClamAV and Aegis and nothing was found. I also looked at the data sheet for the virus and it says that the virus takes advantage of a vulnerability in Mambo. The problem is, I don't have Mambo installed on my system.
