can app_config configure two gpus differently?

Is is possible to set up app_config so that two different GPUs get different settings? Say one GPU has more memory so one card runs an app 1 at a time while the other runs 2 at a time.

If you are referring to two different gpus in the same host of the same mfr type . . . then no. One Nvidia and one AMD . . . . then yes.

If the different gpus are in different hosts then yes, or just assign a host to a different venue or location for different compute settings.

it can be done with two of the same GPU type, but only with different app versions on each GPU. cant configure GPUs differently running the same app, but you can if you run them on different apps (you'll need some additional excludes to force certain apps on each GPU). like say one gpu on gamma ray and another on GW. or even one GPU running gamma ray (FGRPopenclTV-nvidia) and another running gamma ray (FGRPopencl2Pup-nvidia).

the different plan class approach might not be possible. while you can setup the app_config with different configs for the different plan classes, it doesnt look like you can exclude GPUs by plan class, only app name
