I was crunching GPU tasks on my machine for quite a long time:

Coprocessors:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (4095MB) driver: 415.27
Operating system:Linux 4.15.0-46-generic
BOINC client version:7.6.31

Next day I updated OS and can't get any more tasks =(

Those were FGRPB1G tasks that require OpenCL. Your host doesn't seem to request OpenCL work, are you sure your update hasn't killed OpenCL? You should be able to see it in the BOINC startup messages.

That message is not related. You have an amd64 type CPU and a Nvidia GPU. The BRP4 search is not for any of those, that's not new. You could as well disable it.

If you follow the link from the log message you will find out what the server thinks about your machine, in those logs you will find a few of these messages:

2019-04-14 08:30:32.9941 [PID=3866 ] [version] NVidia device (or driver) doesn't support OpenCL

Solution: Update your display driver or install the OpenCL components for it and all should be well again. As I'm a Windows user I can't help you with how to do that but if you need help just post a message in this thread and I'm sure one of the Linux users will assist.

FLOYD, thanks for response.

FLOYD,HOLMIS thanks for response. In Ubuntu 16.04 It was enough to install graphics driver and you are good to go. Apparently it's not the case for 18.04 and you have to do it manually, here is what i found:

https://askubuntu.com/questions/1032430/opencl-with-nvidia-390-on-ubunut-18-04

sudo apt install ocl-icd-libopencl1

 Fixed the problem
