So, factory drivers must be upgraded to version 1.2, yes?

Drivers should be updated to a current version where OpenCL 1.2 support is already incorporated. But. To do the job you have to have Windows 7 (or 8) 64-bit version as it is explained here.

My computers with Intel GPU and Windows 7 are remote hosts, BOINC reports them as machines with non 64 bit OS installed. Very sad! Or to hell!
Thank You, Stranger!

strange indeed...i don't know that it for sure has to do with them being remote hosts though...

My guess is that this is a 32 Bit version of BOINC installed on a 64 Bit system.

Anyway, a 32Bit version of the Intel GPU App has been released today.

Nothing changed. Instead BOINC tells me to look here when I'm trying to receive Intel 32-bit OpenCL tasks.
I found there
no app version available: APP#25 (einsteinbinary_BRP4G) PLATFORM#2 (windows_intelx86) min_version 0
May be that's the clue?

As I explained elsewhere we

As I explained elsewhere we currently have intel_gpu apps only for BRP4 WUs, neither BRP4G nor BRP5, because the latter WUs are too long for the ususally less powerful Intel GPUs.

You need to enable to run BRP4 in your E@H preferences.

Already done. Apparently, it works right now. 2 instances simultaneously. Thank you. Well done! I'm glad! Will add a couple of hosts soon.

Do you mean remote desktop or some VNC / alternative? In the former case it's usually not possible to use any GPUs, because some virtual device is reported. I haven't heard that this would have changed for OpenCL coprocessors.. which would make a lot of sense. But since you can't even crunch with the Intel without a display connected I've got my doubts.

Found one more strange thing.

Found one more strange thing. The BRP4_1.34_windows_intelx86_opencl-intel_gpu.exe is taking more than 400 Mbytes of memory. No other tasks does this. May be this is an error made due compilation?
