    Managed to upgrade my Ubuntu NVidia driver from 460 to 470.74 without destroying 18.04 like what normally happens when I mess with Ubuntu video drivers.

    This gives me GR PBS Version 1.28 instead of older 1.20 for my P102-100 cards.  Incredible, times went from just over 7 minutes to just under 5 minutes!  

    Unfortunately, I am still running too hot: 83, 83, 65 for the 3 boards.
