BOINC 5.8.15 and 5.8.16 for Mac Os suddenly stops working sometimes. I don´t know why. When I end BOINC and start it again, it is going on working where it had stopped before.

Do you have something like a ntp cron-job, which fixes your system time settings?
On my Linux systems BOINC simply stops working, when I change the system time some minutes back.

Yes! This may be the reason. The clock is different between Win and MacOs for a unknown reason and it takes some time until MacOs takes the actual time of the net to correct the clock.
