Sometimes the BOINC works, and other times it is idle when my preferences are set to work only when no one's on the computer. Other times, the screensaver tells me to "launch" BOINC when it appears already to be. Any suggestions or info?

BOINC is idle.
)
There are two "idle" times, the screensaver pops up using the time you set in the screensaver settings box. Thats part of your display preferences.
BOINC uses the idle time you specify in your preferences. Thats part of "your account" on the website, the "Do work only after computer is idle for ___" item in general preferences.
If the BOINC time is longer than the screensaver time, you'll get that message.
Two things -
Set the idle time for BOINC to something smaller then Windows.
A watch out for the screensaver, causes problems on some systems. Especially with ATI graphics cards. (Theres a new E@H being tested that should fix that, emphasis on being tested)
