Einstein@home was my only BOINC project. I just rebooted my computer -- and the project, all WUs, and everything are gone in the BOINC (4.25) manager.

I'm going to try reattaching, but I don't want it to happen again. Can anyone tell me what went wrong?

One of the possibilities is Get your account key.

If you're using windows, be

If you're using windows, be aware that there is an issue where rebooting causes the boinc manager to be blank but the information is still really there. To see if this is the case, exit completely out of boinc using file | exit. Then when you restart it from the start menu, your info will be back.

This occurs on some systems when boinc is set to start automatically at windows boot.

Thanks, everyone. Exiting

Thanks, everyone.

Exiting BOINC and restarting didn't work, but rebooting the machine, exiting and restarting did. All the info was still there; I just lost about 5 hours of processing.

I think it may have something to do with a WU that I aborted last night. I have a large set of WUs; I was offline for a few days, and E@H downloaded more than I could process. I aborted one I wasn't going to finish by the deadline, and this started. (Hope that gives some troubleshooter-type a clue).

Thanks for your help!
