I have a computer that loses my GPU every time it restarts. I have to reinstall boinc to recognize the GPU, and this process repeats itself. Every day after booting up, boinc needs to be reinstalled to calculate GPU programs

The GPU driver is the latest。NVIDIA m2000

GenuineIntel
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v4 @ 3.50GHz [Family 6 Model 79 Stepping 1]
(8 processors)
NVIDIA Quadro M2000 (4095MB) driver: 566.03

If you like, you can

To clarify what you are describing:

Eveytime that you start your COMPUTER you have no GPU ?
In other words you can't, for example, use a browser because there is NO recognized GPU ?

What happens when you just stop BOINC and then start it again (without re-starting your PC) ?
Does BOINC find the GPU ?

What happens when you SUSPEND the project and then RESUME it ?
Is the GPU then 'lost' ?

Do you close/stop BOINC properly or just leave the BOINCMANAGER ?
That then means BOINC is still running in the background before you then shutdown your PC.

Have you tried the Nvidia "Production Branch/Studio" Driver Rel  R550 U12 (553.50) instead ?

I'm just thinking outloud ...

If you like, you can permanently show your computers under:

   ACCOUNT

        Preferences

           Privacy  (second question)

Hope someone can really help you ...

Not to be picky but the latest for the Non Studio drivers is now 566.45 and you can get it here:

[url[https://www.techspot.com/downloads/drivers/essentials/nvidia-geforce/[/url]

One problem could be that since you have Windows and it probably updated itself it COULD have overwritten the Nvidia driver with it's own driver, they think theirs is better of course. BUT the Window drivers won't let you crunch Boinc so you MUST use the Nvidia drivers, in this case.

One other option is this isn't a pc that someone else uses as well is it? Because that is a classic example of when the gpu is loaded correctly but won't work for anyone except the original log-in person.

looks like BOINC recognizes

looks like BOINC recognizes the GPU. otherwise it wouldnt be shown as a Coprocessor on your host details.

The OP said that the GPU is

The OP said that the GPU is being found, but after re-starting (whatever PC or BOINC) it's gone.
That's like magic ...

After the computer restarts,

After the computer restarts, the system and other programs can recognize the GPU, only Einstein@home shows that the GPU is lost

You'll have to post some logs

You'll have to post some logs and scheduler communications with Einstein to prove what you're stating.  Doesn't make any sense what you're posting.  Projects don't have any way of excluding a gpu other than stating there are no applications found for your device.

That is a completely different scenario than what you are proposing.  Either BOINC recognizes your card . . . or it doesn't.
