Currently running two rigs in crossfire, i am wondering if boinc takes advantage of crossfire or must it be enabled manually? If so how is this done and is it applicable to the workloads?
There is no BOINC provision for employing two GPUs on one task, whether by SLI, Crossfire, or just as-is plugged into the system.
If there were, it would almost certainly provide less total Einstein productivity than just running tasks on the GPUs separately. So there is no reason to develop the capability.
BOINC can and does employ multiple suitable GPUs in a system when available. In some cases this must be expressly enabled by a suitable entry in the otherwise optional cc_config.xml file.
