Handle with care. It hasn't

Handle with care. It hasn't been tested yet, and at least one 'feature' will surprise you.

And here I downloaded it last

And here I downloaded it last night on my spare Seti computer.  I'm surprised I haven't seen a post either there or on the main Boinc forum.

I'll see if I can find any other features.

I believe it's an Alpha test version which they tend to not release to everyone until they work out most of the bugs, then it becomes a Beta test version and get's released for alot more people to test. They can always use new testers if you are willing to log your errors and report them to the Developers. Reportedly it does fix a problem over at MilkyWay but I don't remember what that is right now.

I guess I should have

I guess I should have clarified.  I recently signed up to be on the alpha list a few weeks ago, and I didn't get any notifications there, either.

They are rare for the Alpha releases, the Beta ones get more notices.

The master branch is still at

The master branch is still at the development 7.15.0 level. However the client has the 7.16.1 branch available to compile.  It has rolled up a lot of the fixes for various bugs and issues and what have you.  I find it most usable.  Hopefully the official release of the 7.16.1 release makes it to the main release shortly.
