Will the current BRP Search (Arecibo) application version 1.06 be recompiled for the Raspberry Pi so that it will run with the latest Raspbian operating system (Stretch)? At present, version 1.06 is incompatible with Stretch.

It looks like you have a Pi2 or Pi3 plus an older Pi (or a zero).
The Pi2 or 3 can run the beta app. The other Pi is out of luck until they can recompile the app. To get the beta app logon to the e@h website and change your project preferences to run beta apps. Then tell your Pi to update followed by requesting new work. You might want to take the opportunity to upgrade the Pi2 or 3 to Stretch and upgrade BOINC to 7.6.33.
The beta app is faster than the stock app so you’ll get more work done. The app has been in beta for quite a while, maybe 9 months now.

Yes, the older one is a B+, hence my interest in having an updated app for it. I would like to be able to upgrade the B+ to Stretch, but I want to keep the B+ working on Einstein@Home tasks. Without a Stretch-compatible app, I'm stuck with an old, possibly insecure, operating system.
Hopefully, someone from Einstein@Home can let us know if they plan to recompile the app so that older Pis and Zeros with the latest Raspbian operating system can keep crunching for the project.
