Thanks, I installed the OS afew times and when i did get it running it would not detect my modem which is suppose to work with Linux. The modem is a card not an external one. Don't have the Model here at work with me i'll get is when i get home along with any other info you may need.
Few things i would like to know is... is there a web site i can go to and download drivers for Linux? Is Suse 9.0 a good OS to use? Will i be able to use it to run BOINC?

I am usimg SuSE 9.3 with BOINC, seti@home and einstein@home although I have a slow Pentium II CPU. I downloaded the OS using the ADSL connection. You can search the SuSE support database (www.suse.com) to search drivers four your modem. Not all internal modems are supported. When I had a dialup connection I used a USRobotics external modem. Now I uae an Ericsson ADSL model on a 4 MBit/s line and I can download a 5 CDs operating system in about 2 hours and a half. Cheers.
