I had several machines online this PM when they apparentely got the project up and running. I almost decided to stop the upload of finished jobs until later but I went ahead with the upload. When I checked my results page I had a total of 46 jobs and counting (I still may have close to 50 still pending) labeled "client error" and no credit. In checking the times it appears almost all were in the first 30 min after the project went back on line.

I haven't kept track of stats after doing so for about a year when I was participating in SETI@HOME several years ago. I don't expect to ever see any credit for these, but thought I would report it in case others had the same experience or there was a problem within the project. I've participated in 4 or 5 of these projects over the past 5 years or so, and Einstein@Home has been far and away the most accurate and reliable, and was quite surprised to see the number of errors and would like to find out if the problem was on my end or at the project. If someone who may be aware of this "client error" or experienced the same thing would drop me a note I would appreciate it very much.

Hello;
F. Prefect

I booted up all of my machines and uploaded over 50 jobs. In checking my credit back to Jan. 5 I have two validate errors and two client errors. Sometimes it happens. I have read the threads back to early November and remember reading about improper Validate and Client errors being given out. E@H retroactively restored all of these credits when the serever problem was fixed. I suggest you keep an eye on the error messages and see if they are changed.

Thanks JD. I have one other problem and if I can get it taken care of I think I'll be "back to norman" so to speak.

Right now I have several jobs (from another project) I will not be able to complete and would like to remove and or delete them permanentely. I tried the abort button but all I got was a change to "aborted by user" or something to that effect. How can I remove them from my "inventory" so to speak. Where's a good old fashoned delete button when you really need one?
