Just installed Android 5.1.1 on a Pine 64 board and attached here but I'm not receiving any work. Is there no android tasks ATM? Looked at server stats and thought there was.
If you go to "Account" and then under the list of computers click on "More" you will get a list of your computers. At the right side you have a column named "Last Contact" and the date-time is a link to the log for the last scheduler contact. This log should give a hint to why you don't get any tasks.
Not hiding your computers would have given me the chance to check that log and maybe give you an answer to why you don't get any tasks.
This is, from what I've been able to piece together, a problem caused by a recent update to the BOINC app for Android. Prior to the update, which happened in July I think, my Nexus 6p was happily crunching Einstein work units. After the update, my 6p started reporting that there was no work to do from Einstein. I have a few Nexus 5's and an old Moto Droid running Android 4x, and those are still getting Einstein work units, so in my case this seems to be something specific to the Nexus 6p hardware and how the BOINC android app reports the hardware that it's running on.
You could also invert the diagnosis and say that the Einstein android app needs to be updated to say it works on the hardware that the BOINC client is now saying it sees.
I have found that World Community Grid runs on the same 6p that Einstein does not, so you could try using that project instead to validate that BOINC runs on your Pine 64.
I've seen other threads about the newest BOINC version for Android causing issues and advising people to downgrade. I have downloaded the downgraded version from 3 different sites but the OS will not open the file for some reason. Have seen that issue for others also. WCG and collatz both run on the PINE 64 so I guess I'm stuck getting no work here unless I can get the downgraded version of BOINC to install or the code here is updated. Thanks.

Here's the log. If I read it

Here's the log. If I read it right the CPU lacks the proper instruction set to run the tasks here. I'll unhide the hosts.

Keeping an eye on this thread may be of help.
Was able to open and install

Was able to open and install the downgraded version of BOINC by uninstalling the newer version first. Do all of the CPU apps run on Android?
