Hello,
whats different in the code for Binary Radio Pulsar Search to Global Correlations that my AMD Phenom II X6 has such a big performance drop of about 60%?
It seems that this doesn't happen for Intel processors. Is there a possibility to rise performance again? It makes no sense no more for me to crunch at this low yield.

It's easier to say what the two Apps have in common: the machines they are built on (and compilers etc.), and the BOINC related stuff is very similar. Almost everything else is different.
I think that the FFTW used in the BRP App performs much better on Intel than on AMD, but I don't think there's much we can do about that. Both Apps have been compiled with debug symbols, would be nice if someone could oprofile the BRP App on both AMD and Intel to verify this.
