"The board runs rock-stable" - if you mean stable when gaming, that can be very different from considering it stable for GPU computing.

I do not play. I support DC projects for almost 15 years now.

Trotzdem Danke.

Michael.

I ran into the same or

I ran into the same or similar problem with my R9-290x running on a host with Linux OS. I swapped my 7970 with a R9-290x and most BRP6 tasks processed were marked invalid with over 60 tasks in total marked as invalid. I put the 7970 back in and tasks are validating again. The 290x was running default clock frequencies. I have not been able to find a solution for this. The same 290x processed BRP5 data okay.

Did you run single GPU WUs on your 290X when running into validation trouble or did your card process multiple WUs simultaneously at that time?

Michael.

I moved the R9-290x to another system running Windows 10. I had two tasks that completed when the card was processing one task at a time. One of those tasks validated while the other task is pending.

When I set the card to process three tasks at a time, three of those tasks have failed to validate while the rest are in a pending state.

Perhaps this is a limitation of what the 290x can handle with the new application? My 7970 cards are able to run 3 to 4 tasks at a time and those tasks are validating okay.
