I've just begun to use BOINC and have noticed that while it apparently keeps logs of all daily messages on my disk, it only displays the current days log within the BOINC interface. Also, it doesn't appear to keep a log of the transfers that I could find.
My suggestion would be to add an open capability on the File menu to allow for viewing of all log files, or an option on the transfers and messages tabs to view a history. Since I have yet to complete a WU, I am not sure if a history of that is going to be kept on my disc. If not then I would also suggest a work history be accessible through the BOINC interface.
Being able to keep a history of the projects that have used my machine would make me feel more secure about allowing them on it.
