Hello,
all work items my computers uploaded in the last week or so (around 50) are still "pending" and there is no credit granted. I am quite new to E@H but it didn't happen in the first month. So I am unsure if this is normal or if something is broken. Can anyone help?
Thanks

all uploaded results seem to be "pending" for a week now
)
It's pretty normal.
Sometimes your pending credit will build up pretty high waiting for others to finish and I have been watching and noticing mine building up pretty high right now but I imagine in a few days it will all go to my credit list (or most of it a little at a time)
I have over 4,200 pending right now but I am still going to keep adding to it.
It is normal to have some
)
It is normal to have some results with status pending. For the past few weeks the process of validating pending results has been slowed down by problems on the server. It is a temporary situation but yes, there is a problem. No, nobody knows exactly when it will be fixed.

Dagorath is closer to the truth. "Pending" appears at your result after you finish WU but the other one didn't finish yet. But particularly last weeks it often happens that both results are finished and sent but WU is still Pending. It is because of server problems at LIGO.
Even if my PCs run "full blast" and I prioritize units finished on the other side my RAC decreases and my Pending credit is above 7700.
Check you work. THe OP and I
)
Check you work. THe OP and I both have a number of WUs with both results in that are still pending. The validator seems to've fallen over.
All WUs pending for more than
)
All WUs pending for more than 24 hours now. Mine is small time, around 2,600 or so credits, but a team mate has more than 20,000 credits pending already. Hopefully they'll let us know what's up soon, and start working through all the pending results (what a mess that's gonna be!).
Like I said........"pending
)
Like I said........"pending credit" is still building up and at the same time some are going to the "credit" total a little at a time.
No big deal.......it still keeps on running.
Matt L @ BOINC just stated
)
Matt L @ BOINC just stated that the new server patches are now in Einstein's hands. They need to implement, compile it and bring it online.
I am unsure of Einstein's timeline of this, but I am betting they will be in a hurry to get it running and tested.
I've also seen the 'pending
)
I've also seen the 'pending monster' growing this past week -- not all of them going to pending, but for me the pending credit number has grown from 500 to 2200 in the past week.
Einstein which ran so reliably for 2 years or more seems to have fallen to a duct tape mode over the past two months or so. The imprecation to patience works for a while, but at a certain point....
In any event, I've reverted to mostly to suspend mode (I was on 'no new work' after there were different issues last week), so that other projects can get my CPU cycles.
I am hoping there is a status announcement once this project returns to its reliable old self as having to scan various threads to determine status is less than optimal.
The server problems that have
)
The server problems that have been evident for some time now may be close to resolution. Here is a quote from a very recent post by Matt Lebofsky on the Seti Technical News page:-
Note that it is hoped that the problems will be resolved by changes to the BOINC server backend code. All BOINC projects use this code and are going to benefit from the fixes once they are in place. Apparently Seti and Einstein have suffered from the problems because their databases are the biggest. Hopefully not too long now before things improve.
Cheers,
Gary.
Thanks for the update
)
Thanks for the update information -- I've been tracking SETI as well -- they are not only larger, but historically are a bit more pro-active in terms of status update information. Also, for whatever reason, the problems they have encountered over the past couple of months have not been as periodically 'show stopping' as Einstein has had.
That being said, I'm hoping when folks have solutions in place which resolve the various problems Einstein has had over the past two months, there will be a bulletin on the home page providing the information.
For now though, I think I'll seen my Einstein workers to sleep mode, pending resolution.
