in, I think,
https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/blob/master/drupal/sites/default/boinc/modules/boincwork/includes/boincwork.helpers.inc#L1650

I'm monitoring https://einsteinathome.org/host/12766736/tasks/0/0, and the numbers don't add up. I see

All (99)
In progress (11)
Pending (72)
Valid (7)
Invalid (0)
Error (0)

- I make the three occupied states add up to 90, not 99: I'd like to focus (by filtering) on the 9 inconclusives.

A big +1 to that.

I've noticed that the numbers don't `add up' at times and the difference has always been the inconclusives.  So, at the very least there is a bug that should be fixed by making sure any inconclusives are included in the pendings.  This is what they really are without an extra category.  Ultimately, they will end up as either valid or invalid.

Ideally, there should be a separate category for inconclusives.  I'm guessing it might be a lot more work to add a new category than to just fix the bug :-).  Does the latest BOINC server code have an 'inconclusive' category?

Cheers,
Gary.

Sorry, I've been distracted

Sorry, I've been distracted for a few days.  Current score is

All (134)
In progress (0)
Pending (27)
Valid (41)
Invalid (37)
Error (0)

which I think is still hiding 29 inconclusives - which is a very poor return for this GPU. There's still some work to do in fixing even the Beta app for these newest Intel devices (UHD 620)

I think it would be trivial (or as close to trivial as programming ever gets) to add a query/display for these tasks. The 'inconclusive' state is recorded, and even shown in the detail list below the filter row. The state is handled in the underlying BOINC query code (https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/blob/master/html/inc/result.inc#L116) and displayed at other projects.

Thanks for continuing to

Thanks for continuing to supply information about this.  Hopefully, if we continue to discuss this, someone may eventually notice and decide to have a look.  From the links you've given, it sounds like the staff here could implement a fix to the Einstein version of the code without too much effort.

Cheers,
Gary.

While the topic of adding

While the topic of adding task list function to aid utility is open, I find myself wishing that it was easier than it is to isolate tasks with the status of "validate error" from those with status "Completed, marked as invalid".

While an entire separate filter is perhaps not warranted, if the Status column were made sortable, that would help nicely.

Another +1 to this. If

Another +1 to this.

If another filter is not wanted then I think it should be part of the pending statistic since the result is still effectively pending.
