hi,

I'm searching for a way to add BOINC to Knoppix or to an other Live-CD.

Or a mini Linux on a floppy like fli4l with a possibility to connect to E@W..

Pinky, Knoppix will allow

Pinky,
Knoppix will allow you to set up a home directory on a memory stick. You can load and run boinc from the memory stick.

I want to build a server rack without any HD or memory stick. I've found a mini linux on floppy for SETI@Home, but I can't use it for E@H...

I'm looking for something like this, any ideas?

Seti work units are

Seti work units are 350Kbytes. Einstein workunits are much bigger. They won't fit on a floppy.

That set of FAQ's says an Einstein Work Unit is about 12Mb.

But that 12MB file is good for 150 WUs sent around to everyone (450 results), and the code will try to send a WU to you that uses a file that you already have. So, if you have a fast machine, you may get a dozen WUs out out of that single 12MB file.
