Password problem

There's an odd problem with my account:

1. Every time I log in to the website, the password fails to validate, so I have to use the "forgot password" every time.

2. When I got started, I managed to get my two Android tablets connected and working.  I recent picked up a third tablet and I cannot connect this project.  It complains that the password doesn't match, even though I just reset it.

In addition, the cross-project ID doesn't match my other projects and Einstein doesn't show up on my BOINCSTATS page.

Any Ideas?

Thanks!

Brian,

We can try having me (admin) change your password. Please send me a Private Message with a temporary password string you would like to use. I'll contact you once the password has been reset.

Sincerely,

Shawn

via private message, Shawn

via private message, Shawn suggested: "try to simultaneously change
your email address and password associated with the" problem account.  and this SOLVED the problem.

It does require a different email account, but then I changed the email address back, and it still works.

Thanks, Shawn.

Frank,

With your new email address and new password are you able to log into the E@H Web site? (Or are you still using BOINC authenticator?)

To follow up- We managed to

To follow up- We managed to fix Frank's problem by having him Private Message (PM) me, and he gave me a new email and password, which I changed for him simultaneously. Then he logged in and changed (again) his email and password at the same time.

Thus if you having the same issue, first try: changing the email address and password of your account in Account -> Credentials. Then if that does not work, second: PM me or another admin and give us a new email address. Have us change your email address and password simultaneously for you. When you login to the Web site again, you should be able to change your email address and password back to what you prefer.
