The CPU time and time to completion disappear whenever einstein pauses and reappear when it is computing. Also when they reappear they count down from where they started rather than remembering past units crunched. The percentage does, however, remember past units. This may be cured already in that I notice there is a new einstein 4.72 already. Thanks for letting me participate in real science! It is exciting to see the raw stuff which of course includes imperfections.

There is another post saying this was a bug, and is now fixed. I'm assuming the new .exe will be OK.

Should I delete 4.71 to get a 4.72?

I wouldn't, because AFAIK, the bug is simply cosmetic.

AFAIK, einstein 4.72 is downloaded automatically with new work units.

Won't work. The client should download the 4.71 again as he has already decided to run the current Result with it.

There is a manual overcome but be careful - make a backup prior to further instructions.
BOINC 4.59 has a feature to abort a WU.
After installing 4.59, run BOINC Manager.
Point a to 4.71 Einstein WU that is being computed; BOINC will skip to another.
As number of Einstein WUs decrease, it will trigger of downloading new WUs - should be a 4.72 version.
You can alse Reset Project.
I would do it only if you are having trouble running 4.71; otherwise i would leave it as it is so BOINC will eventually download new Einstein anyway (perhaps even newer one}
EDIT: Some typo corrected

I assumed he meant delete the WU...
I continue having the problem
)
I continue having the problem of units showing nothing in the clock when it stops
Einstein@Home - 2005-01-20 22:22:55 - Pausing result H1_0059.9__0060.3_0.1_T01_Test02_1 (removed from memory)
and also the data of time until finish goes to ---
When its turn comes back again it restarts from cero time allthough the percent of advance is kept.
So this means that in spite of using CC 4.15 we have not fixed this yet.

This is a problem of the application, not the client. App version 4.72/3/4 should have this fixed.

Bernd around tonite, sometime between 20 and 21Hrs GMT+1 I will be in a position to let you know (as I received a 4.72 version unit) if this gets fixed or not, but in the meantime I still have the 4,71 at 55% progress so I must wait.
Regards.
