Probably, but it's a two way process as the alternative universe keeps sending us it's surplus coat hangars which we regularly find in wardrobes and other dark places where they congregate for company.

Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now
Eggs are actually quite clever little beasties. Look at the total volume of a box of 6 eggs, then cook a 6 egg omelette. Voilà ! they now only take up half the space they did before. Then of course there’s only one thing in this world shaped like an egg, which apparently is an Asymmetric tapered ovoid.
If eggs were perfectly spherical, they would be more likely to roll out of a nest and break, and make life for chickens having to lay them a tad more difficult. Instead, because they have a tapered end, they make a circular path when they roll. Also the tapered shape of eggs allows them to fit more snugly inside the nest and keep each other warm. Awwwwww that's so sweet!
What Kath needs is a smart fridge where it reads the barcodes on products, alerts you on your iphone when they are out of date and automatically orders replacements which will be there when you arrive home. Problem is that the delivery man will have put a card through the door saying "Sorry you were out when we called, items left in black wheelie bin for safety". And then you find that the binmen have been during the day, which was the reason you left the bin out in the first place!!
I'm just waiting for the first paranoid Marvin fridge.

"My Salad drawer has been sticking for weeks but nobody listens"
"My door hinges squeak in warm weather"
"Here I am, processor the size of a Cray, and all I do is look at limp lettuces"

"Oh and please stop opening my door to check - the light does go off, I'm used to sitting in the dark"

I've been wondering that myself. My guess is the camera turns it on, and that it's an LED light for minimum energy usage and heat production.

February was the sell by. Last night I had some with a sell by in May and they were fine.
