Sobering thought - a high percentage of the people in that crowd who are plainly getting off on the Floyd were not even born when Pink Floyd started up back in the late '60s...

I was around, living on a tropical island in the Pacific Ocean at the time.
Won a free trip there from my local draft board, all expenses paid by the governmant.

John Lennons Top 41 The

John Lennons Top 41

The last few nights on the local PBS channel here they have had some of the greatest songs ever (still better than anything we have been getting the last 25 years)

Most came out when I was in grade school and some before that but they will be around longer than the ones we have now and they didn't all roll around in money and diamonds like the ones with no talent now days.

PBS has been putting on lots of nice old shows and many of the people that are still around (John Fogarty/Creedence Clearwater Revival,YES,Robert Plant/Led Zeppelin,John Lennon and all his friends back then like Donovan)

Then one of these goofy network shows that had Ted Nugent helping some guys make a new band and the drummer was Jason Bonham (the son of the late, great John Henry Bonham the drummer for Led Zeppelin)

Has anyone seen that excellent movie of the Led Zep gig at Madison Square Gardens The Song Remains The Same?
There is some documentary footage in that film (towards the end of 'Moby Dick') of a very young Jason Bonham at the age of (looks like 3 or 4) with his dad....
