Upgrading install question

    I'm currently running boinc 5.2.2
    If I download the newest stable version, will the install program bring my current configuration along and incorporate it in the new install OR will I have to reconfigure and rejoin and all that. And if the latter, how can I bring my current stats and work forward without losing it all?

    PS. I'm only attached to Einstein@...

      Shut down BOINC, and install right over it. Nothing should be lost, and it should take over where it was.
