My other box (Win XP) shows the result just after uploading.
Any ideas what could be wrong ?

Probably nothing wrong. The UPLOAD of a result happens independently of the REPORTING of a result. Of course the UPLOAD is always before the REPORTING.
Try doing 'Update Project' to force your client to also REPORT the completed work.
