David S you work WAY too hard for a retired guy!! You wear me out just reading about what you do all day long!!! I need a nap, and I JUST got up 2 hours ago!!!
I'm not retired! I'm only 49. Minimum age for my meager state pension is 55. I will have enough years in by then, but the that won't be enough without also having Social Security (yes, I will get both, since I pay into both) and medical insurance would also be a problem until I hit Medicare 8 years later.
My imperfect to rain on my glasses is to wear a baseball cap.
And the other thing that I still forgot I wanted to say when I came up with all the other stuff I forgot was that my sun burn is not too bad. However, I managed to give myself a small scratch with a fingernail, right in the middle of my forehead.

I scrapped an old HP PC this afternoon I hadn't used in over 2 years, and out of curiosity I fired it up to recall what it was. Hehehe.
Win XP 32 bit, P4 2.4 processor, 2Gb RAM, ATI 4870 card :-))) No wonder I took it off line! The surprising thing was an Antec 550W PSU which I had forgotten was in there £60 worth. Then I remembered how power hungry 4870's were needing two 6 pin plugs :-( Anyhow, recovered the card and PSU scrapped the rest.
All good fun down memory lane, all 2Gb of it :-)))
Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

You'd think they'd have got it right by now

RE: "640K ought to be
Apparently he did say it, but was so embarrassed later that he now denies it.

It is far too profitable to be solved.
And there was a need for only five room sized tube computers that ran at 1KHz.
