“The most powerful force in the universe is compound interest.
As soon as there is an " " I'll return to donate
my " Wasted CPU Cycles " to this project.
Hopefully -"- akosf -"- will be there, " wasted cpu cycles " permitting.
I realize that with a tightening of the qourum to 2 results, some adjustments
needed to be made, but I wonder, how many " scientists " actually looked at the
output of the so called " Official App ", and nodded their approval. Maybe they
just looked over the source code and gave their approval, placing their faith
in Intel, Microsoft, or whatever for the binary to pass muster.
This I believe is the greatest error in the "BOINC Paradigm".
There's no such thing as a " wasted CPU cycle ",
I believe I can count on Intel/AMD to defend me on this.
There is a marginal cost to each cpu cycle above "sleep".
I don't think it's asking too much of "BOINC" to assure me that
every cycle I donate is used wisely, efficiently, and in good faith.

Your 2 cents are up.

Thank you, Akos. Let's hope

Thank you, Akos. Let's hope the project fixes its database issues before it's too late to speed up crunching S5.
I have nothing to add to Guido's message except that.
