A lot depends on exactly what tasks you have since there are different deadlines for different types and work fetch is based on estimated times which, if you're lucky, might be a bit higher than the true value anyway.
Your computers are 'hidden' which means that nobody can look at the tasks you have and at least give you some advice about what to do. Tasks can go a little beyond deadline if the quorum is still 'open' but if a replacement is sent out and returned quickly, it's a waste for you. A bigger problem is that BOINC can enter 'panic mode' as a deadline approaches so that can really interfere with things.
If you change your privacy settings (account -> preferences -> privacy) to allow other users to see non-sensitive information about your computer and its list of tasks, it would be much easier to give you some advice.
By mistake, I set the number of days of work to 9 days and got a couple of hundred WU's between Einstein and Milky way. My computer will not be able to process the tasks
As Gary said, "Welcome to BOINC and to this project."
No task will "get lost". Even if you don't process it. If it is unprocessed by the deadline I know E@H will cancel the processing.
You most likely don't have 9 days of tasks to process. There is an upper limit that the Boinc Manager is allowed to download based on the # of cores/threads and # of GPUs you have. Apparently, this is project-specific.
Gary's comment about "Panic Mode" is right on. If you are running a mixed load, the tasks with deadlines approaching will take over all the available processing time in an attempt to get those tasks processed before they "expire".
Aborting tasks won't lose the task. They are still available on the server and will be sent out again.
As Gary said if you want more specific advice you need to allow us to "see" the computer(s). I have never had a security problem with allowing the public to see my computers.

Now that we have more information about the "inflation" I am wondering what my RAC per rx 5700 would have been under the previous processing speed?
Seems to be above 1,000,000 RAC / gpu now.
