Any chance you point to a URL where I could read related information on the web?
It's the BOINC client that creates and adds records to the job log files. If documentation exists it would be somewhere on the BOINC website - boinc.berkeley.edu. It's hard to imagine what other information you might need about those files.
I've not seen any specific information. I worked out the codes simply by observing the data values for a given task and comparing the numbers with the entries in BOINC manager tasks tab and also in the completed tasks as listed on the website. The only code I didn't list was 'es' which stands for exit status. A value of '0' signifies a normal exit, ie. no computation error for that task.
Have you tried reading the user manual? There's a lot of information, particularly in the Advanced sections.
You could always ask specific BOINC related questions over on their forum. There are some knowledgeable people over there.
