There's been a lot happening on the GPU front and those apps are quite slick now.
Lots of brand new pulsar discoveries - about 1 a week for the whole of last year and probably a lot more to come. Everyone seems quite keen to be in the running for one of those nice pulsar discovery certificates. If you've got time, there's a fair bit to catch up on :-).

Yeah, it's been a rough 3 or 4 years for me personally. :-(
Things seem to be on the upswing again, and hopefully I'll have more time to help out on the boards again. Right now Richard and I are looking into some of the problems going on over at MW with their new 'N-Body' multi-threaded app.
So that's what drew me out of my shell this time around. :-D
