CPU affinity might be good -

CPU affinity might be good - trux experimented with it and it was found usefull on Xeon HTs.

I might try it on Kentsfield...the more cores, the more potential in setting CPU affinity, right?
Hope it goes well under 64-bit Vista...

Thanks Crunch3r, works as

Thanks Crunch3r, works as expected.

Suspending particular WU makes one of the 4 cores idle; RRI works as expected.
Running under 64-bit Vista with no (visible) issues.

Hello Could someone

Hello

Could someone explain me what are the benefits of the 64bits boinc ?
As far as I know, all projects clients are 32bits, so I don't understand what could be the benefits of a 64 bits boinc ??

Do you have performance comparisons between 32 and 64 bits versions ? (speed...)

Thanks

Hi

Well benefits would be that it doesn't run in WoW emulation because it's native 64 bit.

It has some other features like setting cpu_affinity etc...
