It isn't quite back up -- with the scheduler offline, you won't be able to upload or download. Scheduler never came back up after the maintenance this morning. Perhaps (there having been no update about this) the admins are not aware that they have this remaining issue to deal with.

Hi guys,
welcome back up!
What happened?
Michael
Actually, uploading works just fine. What we can't do is report the results.
As of this post/time it looks like they are all up again - but with a bit of a validation queue
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) Queue has ballooned by 3000 in the last ~ 30 minutes. Will probably peak then settle down.
( edit ) Aside : 'Isn't that like saying the system worked regarding the Delta flight?' :-)
Last summer ( DownUnda ) we had railway outages due to heat ( rails buckling ) - so our transport minister vowed that she would put measures in place so this would never happen next summer. Not long ago it happened again - some rails buckling the midday heat - and the question was put to her. No problem, she said, being the 29th of October it wasn't yet officially summer so her prior statement held good. ( BTW no work is on record addressing those areas where old-style continuous track welds were replaced with needed expansion gaps. So we remain unsure of the source of the ministers confidence. )
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

The scheduler was taken off line to give the transitioner a chance to catch up with reality.
For those unsure what the transitioner does, here's the bit of help from Seti: transitioner: Handles state transitions of workunits and results. Basically, the transitioners keep track of the results in progress and makes sure they properly move down the pipeline. It is always asking the questions: Is this workunit ready to send out? Has this result been received yet? Is this a valid result? Can we delete it now?
