There is a theory of physics going on here. We operate as far as I know with Fermion GPU's and not Boson GPU's.
Until we have photonics instead of electronics running our devices, only one electron can occupy one space. If we add more than one task to a GPU we simply are overloading the buss. Bang! goes the GPU.
This is only a suggestion.
I think that is not allowing for how fast they are, yes one at a time but the swapping between them is sooo fast as to be almost imperceptibly fast to us. It's sorta like we humans are NOT multi-taskers, when we are young we can swap between them very fast but as get older we can't swap as fast or as easily and it's more obvious that we never could truly multi-task.
Oh and poking me WILL cause you to die, maybe not today but some day!! :-))
Well then, we will have to try and see if the ratio of watt hours to work done is similar. Perhaps tomorrow. I'm worn out just finally installing my proper name and avatar.
Mikey, now you have me

Mikey, now you have me wanting to poke you;-) To see if it's true.
