Hmmh... now that I think about it... ... YES, that's what the change with that wording is probably designed for. They want me to feel what I am Cool I accept it.

100,000,000 E@H credits!

100,000,000 E@H credits!  When I started, less than a year ago, I never thought that possible. I remember how excited I was to get my first 1,000,000. Thanks to you all who helped me get things up and running, and to all the other dedicated volunteers who love the E@H science.

Ideas are not fixed, nor should they be; we live in model-dependent reality.

Hi Craig,
I'm very pleased to offer sincere congratulations for a job well done!  Quite astounding!  It only seems like yesterday when I had the pleasure of approving your profile.  You certainly didn't waste any time :-).

Cheers,
Gary.

So will be 1,000,000,000 when you get there very shortly ;-).

Congratulations in advance! :-).  Even if you stop now, you might already be there, just on pendings :-).

Cheers,
Gary.

Thank you Gary. I am pretty

Thank you Gary. I am pretty excited about it!

I have always enjoyed reading your posts. Your knowledge of Linux and E@H has helped me several times and you are so articulate they are a pleasure to read. You would have been a great novelist!

Last thing. My name also is Gary. Cheers! Cool

Thank you for your extremely

Thank you for your extremely kind words!

English was actually my worst subject in high school.  I was very glad to escape into Science/Engineering at University ;-).  At that time (early 1960s), Engineers tended to dislike Physics - a subject to be endured rather than understood.  I'm trying to make up for that now :-).

The stats are always nice, but the thing that really drives me is the sheer brilliance of all those amazing people who come up with the bright ideas in the first place and then have the drive/dedication to design the equipment and experiments that ultimately turn a seemingly impossible theoretical concept into an observed proof of how the universe actually works.

The final direct observation of gravitational waves and what it took to get there is awe inspiring.  The fact that we can actually observe events that happened billions of years ago and at such unimaginable distances away from us is quite mind blowing.  I feel compelled to support those kinds of efforts in whatever way I can.

Cheers,
Gary.

All-in-all stats are just

All-in-all stats are just numbers and as big as 1,000,000,000 looks it is but a tiny drip in the bucket. But it is my tiny bit of my contribution to amazing research being done by hard working, dedicated scientist, who I admire. I've always found radio astronomy fascinating. Reading about neutron stars and pulsars is mind blowing.

The funny part is I was going to quit at 400,000,000. I thought that was pretty good. Then I forgot to quit. I am 67 and I am pretty typical of forgetful and sometimes mindless old farts. LOL

Anyway thank you for all you do here Gary. Cheers!
