Any solution to this yet. I even detached and reattached to see if I could get work. One job, 4 cpu's and One job, still can't get work. Is einstein requesting I get work from other projects.

If you look close, you'll see

Message 92774 in response to message 92773

If you look close, you'll see in the output you quoted that you got a new task:

Quote:

5/27/2009 5:01:48 PM Einstein@Home Scheduler request completed: got 1 new tasks

Both of your hosts seem to have at least one task "in progress" (currently running or ready to run).

You hit it right on the head.

You hit it right on the head. I got ONE. What do my other 3 processors do? This one is already half done. Einstein has 50% of my computer time but the project is already owed time and I just reset it thinking that might clear the bottleneck. I use to run a 8 day cache but have reduced it to 5.

A month or so ago, I was getting 12 or more at a time. They would run until I had 2-3 and request more. I posted earlier in this section when my other system was doing the same thing. After I had posted about it, I got 20 or more jobs, but their almost gone too. I wonder if I'm going to have trouble getting more?

It looks like you have more

It looks like you have more than one EaH task now. If you don't, try resetting the debts. All the laster versions of 6.6.x have issues with LTD building in one direction and not being properly maintained.

There's a cc_config option now for doing that:

Set resource scheduling debts to zero. This lets you fix situations where client bugs have resulted in distorted debt values. Set it, run the client, then clear it (otherwise you'll start out with zero debts every time you run the client). New in 6.6.11

More information about cc_config.xml you can find here.

Gundolf
