I was running a check on my computer and had Boinc on *suspend*, figuring I'd start it up when the check was done. The computer froze up and I had to re-boot it. When everything came back on and I clicked on Boinc to reset it, nothing was there. No messages, no records of any kind. ???

Lost my records

sloracer,

Which computer? Is the BOINC folder still intact, with projects, etc., as far as you can tell? I suppose the first step would be to do a re-install, using the repair option, but for now, do not delete anything in there.

Only the Dell. (54772) The other computers are long gone. This one is new to me and once I installed Boinc I have had no problems until I suspended it for that check-up and the system went blank on me. I figured Boinc would start back up and it did...at least the format for it did, but I seem to have lost records and contact that I had.

Do you have a recent system

Do you have a recent system restore point set? If so, try that first, you may have just lost some registry settings or entries.

Thank you! My brother mentioned the system restore thing the other day when he set the computer up for me and it took me a bit to find what I needed to do. Sure enough, it went back to when I first installed Boinc this time and when I checked, there were all the results and it looks like all is well again. Thanks, Michael and MS XP!
