Hi all,

the following could be very interesting to all Einstein@Home volunteers who have ever wanted to talk to the scientists that run the LIGO gravitational-wave detectors:

In conjunction with the launch of the documentary film “LIGO Generationsâ€, The LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC) is hosting an interactive Ask Me Anything (AMA) session at reddit.com. LSC researchers will answer questions from AMA participants on Friday, February 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST / -5 GMT. Kai Staats, the filmmaker who produced “LIGO Generations†and its predecessor, “LIGO: A Passion for Understanding†will also join the event.

To participate, people will have to create an account at reddit.com/r/science (it takes only a few seconds) and visit the site Friday to post questions.

For more details on the event, and to watch the documentary “LIGO Generations†visit space.com.

Cheers,
Benjamin
