I would be prepared to kick off the proceedings with a few bits about my home town of Leicester here in the UK.

You got a nice little city there John.

That's where TFFE met up last May, for a quiet little tea dance...

We visited the Noodle Bar in the centre of town and O'Neil's for more than one or two sherberts. We even managed to catch Leicesters' last home game of the season.

Hope the towns' recovered. :o)

Thank you Keith. Yeah - the town staggered for a bit but has now recovered!
I work in the centre of town and pass O'Neils every day.....now that I know it was a past haunt of TFFE I shall tremble as I go past.....
(last time I watched Leicester City play was back in the 60s......Gordon Banks was in goal, Peter Shilton was still playing for the reserves....)

Keith, perhaps a link to our parties videos of the affair would be in order,
you wouldn't want people to think that we were total animals, now would you?

At least, might I suggest, a picture of Laughingboy's dessert at the noodle bar.

I can just see Mike now, sitting with his head in his hands saying
"Good grief, no...." ;-)

You are a love for caring! :-)
Please post away, have a ball, and get the place humming with fun stuff! :-)
I'll manage...... just as soon as I've nailed my trousers to the mast! :-)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Suggestion for a thread.

Einstein, like all the BOINC projects, is International.
Imagine a thread where guys (and gals!) from all around the world could post
links/photos/articles about their own home towns.......................

I would be prepared to kick off the proceedings with a few bits about my home town of Leicester here in the UK.

What sort of reaction/response do you think this one would get?
(I haven't seen this done before - correct me if I'm wrong).

I think it's a great idea John.
