Sorry to hear of your

Sorry to hear of your unwellness in the myocardial sense, such close calls we could all do without :

But like yourself I am pleased about the targeted pugnation & belligerosity that kept you with us. We're good at giving stuff away in Australia, like entire test cricket matches for instance*! :-)

Cheers, Mike.

* and no cheating this time !

( edit ) And Alfie sends his love. Spinning is his own, especially intriguing, way of reaching out to others. However, knowing his density, I can say he may also be generating gravitational waves. ;~]

Annie, you didn't ask

Annie, you didn't ask permission to have a heart attack!

Glad you are still with us.  Hope it was a small one and they can keep everything under control with a couple of pills.  Listen to them and do as commanded.

Gary

Don't worry, the trigger post

Don't worry, the trigger post isn't related to the New Year. You can talk now ... :-)

Cheers, Mike.

Happy  New Year,

Happy  New Year, everyone!

Snagletooth! It's you :) Happy new year! And to everyone else* too of course :)

aha, the unsuspected middle aged female with non-textbook symptoms heart attack trick

*s-l-o-w, i-m-p-r-e-s-s-e-d b-l-i-n-k*  You're a very good doctor, Mike... I can tell... Aha was pretty much how it all began... shortened (I presume) from abracadabra because I'd just dozed off for the night and probably wasn't at my most chatty, no. At least the cardiac unit at the different hospital the ambulance crew uplinked to, then took me to, weren't in any doubt I needed their help quite a bit of a lot, but I think even they hadn't actually expected someone my shape, age and size with none of the expected ticked boxes giving me permission to have one at all, to be delivered having one. They seemed inordinately pleased to see me when I was though :) I think it had been a bit of boring night before that.

And with my tortuosity unveiling magnificently during the big stenting party, I got the feeling it was like several extra helpings of cherry on the top had turned up for their enjoyment :) although my blood pressure went and threw a sudden wobbly and I then stopped remembering stuff until later when I did again, which was also when I felt very very cold and was being asked stuff that had nothing to do with feeling very cold. I didn't let that stop me from mentioning it though...probably a few times more than was actually necessary to be honest :/ but it paid off the next day when they did a bit more work cos I got to float about on a papery mattress inflated with warm air - which was lovely :)

I hope everything is fixed now and you are good for the next 60ish years or so!!

I think the plan is to give medication a chance to attempt a remodelling of the rest of the mess it's in, and then see from there, Mikey because I definitely need to be around for a lot longer than I've been around so far, and I fully intend to too :)

Listen to them and do as commanded.

I am, and will, promise :)  I am their minion to be commanded, now :) yes, and no one can stop me :)

As for that test match, Mike, y-e-e-e-e-e-s... My other half was having a comment on it the other day*, or was it the day before that? I can't remember now, but I remember my eyes getting really quite round and thinking how happy India must be. A small comfort I know, so my commiserations ;)

Alfie sends his love.

Awwwwwwwwwwww :) Give him mine along with a big hug* too!

*That means you lot already here and you lot out there... lurking or, you know, a bit too busy with stuff to pop in. Not that lurking isn't being busy of course

*Gravity waves permitting

* I edited it in because it wasn't there before and should have been ... the "day" I mean.

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

I HOPE that means walking or riding a bike or something like that! When my wife had a heart valve replaced last year they made her go to the exercise place that was just for recovering heart patients and she was required to not only be there but to better each week than the week before! No just showing up and going home. They had 4 different kinds of machines there and they made her choose 3 every time she went, but she couldn't choose the same 3 as the last time she was there. She went 3 times per week for 20 some weeks. But now she's stopped and thinking if she exercises she will 'break something' so I'm having to cajole her into doing SOMETHING!!

Last year it happened just before we were going to see Dr. Mike's part of the World, we are setup to go this year but I'm not sure how much she can do when we get there. She has big plans but not much stamina so we will see.

I hope you can, Mikey :) and that it boosts both her confidence and her stamina.

Does this year's setup also include tickets for the grand prix? (At least I think that's one of the things you'd had planned last time.)
