It's all about who you know. Don't worry, I'll put in a good word for you.

Thank you very much!! I'm sure I'll be the winner now!!

Nice pictures Magic!!

Anniet I'm sorry you missed the Eclipse too, I also missed it as it was waaay past my bedtime and I was sleepy. I did go out to see it, but it was too early so I didn't.

What?!  You mean they didn't bang noise makers all over your area to chase the evil spirit that was eating the green cheese away?  You could sleep?

I missed the eclipse because,

I missed the eclipse because, well, I was on the other side of the Earth at the time. That's called an alibi BTW. No cheese heister am I. However I did my bit, I helped block the sunlight so that you all could see the Super Bloody Wolf Moon. Plus we ran around crazily and beseeched alot. So be thankful I was up & about !

But hark! What light upon yonder window breaks. T'is the East and Juliet is drunk again. Oh if I were a glove upon that hand, that I might fix that window. Her vestal livery is but sick & weak and none but fools do wear it. Mostly. Sort of. At least 2/3rds I'd say. Cast it off! Oh it is my lady. Oh it is my love. Oh ....... darn ....... I've cut my finger. What a nutter. The Moon is just a big balloon actually. Really.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Oh yes when I go to sleep I don't hear much, I used to hear my kids when they were growing up but they are both out of college so now I only wake up to roll over. They could have done the noisemakers but most of my neighbors are retired or close to it too so they probably didn't do much noise making. I do not live in one of those 'adults only' neighborhoods but it's kinda in the price range that most families with kids can't afford it. Add in that the school system around here is very bad and the only people with kids are the ones that grew up in the area or were born here after they moved in, or in the case of one Minister the Church is paying his mortgage. In fact last Fall when school started we did a fundraiser to help the local middle school kids with backpacks etc, there are about 500 kids in the school and about 400 of them qualify for the Government to pay for their breakfasts and lunches.

Could we book you for 2037...?

*have that thought again* I keep wondering where Kathryn is. Then I keep on not knowing, and so on and so forth. I expect she's busy... hopefully with brilliant stuff! It'll be lovely to see her when she finds a moment though :)

It sounds like, like Mike, Mikey, that you live in a really quite caring community :)

I get to spend tomorrow like I spent today, except I've been allowed to come home in-between and have up to 500ml of liquid substances! Except I stupidly squandered the first 200 on a glass of water... It should have been icecream, it really really should.

I left without asking about your cut, Mike-oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh...  That's a very good diagnosis...

I can definitely see what you mean... it is a finger...

Thanks, most of us really do try to help out others that have less than we do., For the school donations some of us gave 'stuff' from a list they sent out while others just donated cash so they could buy what they needed in case they had too much of one thing or another. The School said a HUGE Thank You note and said the kids were delighted!!

When I get my liquids in every day they let me count Sugar Free popsicles and Sugar Free jello too, it helps break up the drinking to get the liquids in. I usually get in between 96 and 128 ounces every day, less when I'm traveling because stopping to go means the trip takes longer. But then I make it up when I get there by drinking extra. I also mix stuff into my water bottles, I use Crystal Lite, some Propel, some protein water and some Sugar Free lemonade too, it tastes good to me so I drink more of it than if it were just plain water.

If you are going to do ice cream look for the Halo Top or Breyers etc brand that has extra protein and fewer carbs, it's healthier than the full fat high sugar ones and really does taste good.

Well, I've got a

Well, I've got a not-so-very-fun week coming up for me.

Early last December I had a bout of rectal bleeding (which didn't last long thank goodness). I finally got in to see the gastroenterologist earlier this month. Now I'm looking at that nasty ol prep this Tuesday for a colonoscopy on Wednesday.

Better safe than sorry, but it's never any fun doing this. Frown
