I thought of another, but now I don't remember ...
Maybe it was a memo to self (or perhaps to Phil) to regive trains this festive season, hopefully of the toy variety (for the sake of the elves - or perhaps Rudolph .. ) -- but I guess not, seeing as it's just one word :-).
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... is that ^ what we're unjumbling? I thought that was Mike reinvigorating the English language some more :)))) *revolve eyes into head* ... yep... it's a bit... slow... in there folks :)
Hmmm... come to think about it... "reinvigorates" looks like a possible winner...
To quote a famous Kat... Just let me check...
Ahem. *sit on spare "t" and avoid all eye contact* Yes! :))))))))
sievgranitort - an alternative name for teeth involved in the polite process of eating a dessert frozen in error by your hostess
veerinstigator - one who makes you rapidly leave a topic of discussion to talk about shoes instead. Other uses of the word include scarves that get caught in steering wheels and droopy sleeves that get caught on hand controls and then cause... trajectory issues.
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
Another truly splendid list from Mike! And who said doctors are terrible paper shufflers??
I got a good laugh from the whole list but I thought the political reference was most appropriate. It immediately brought to mind the spectre of that breed of high profile politician who is most adept at soothingly telling you everything - and nothing - all in the one diatribe!! I'm sure every culture has a few of those :-).
You could tell such a person they had a real gift for _________ and they would most likely think you were complimenting them for their oratorical skills!!
... "reinvigorates" looks like a possible winner...
Very good ... *frantically counting letters* ... ahhh the "t" - such a spikey letter. Hope you weren't too uncomfortable ... Maybe a soft "g" would give a better result?

What a beautiful word. I'm sure my ..err auntie rosemary ... uses those incessantly for convincing other unfortunate road users that they really don't want to try for that solitary parking spot after all!!
@Gary : Well the proximity of the word 'ovine' to the word 'voters' was not altogether partially exceptional in it's obverse juxtapositional influence. :-)
Actually with the recent change of teams in a state to the south of you, one of the outgoing parliamentary members had an honest moment by saying : "well I wasn't completely drunk" [ during a certain parliamentary session, responding to a question about mooted breath testing of politicos during their 'working' hours ]. Right. So that's sorted then ....
@Anniet : Yes, it took me a good half hour to reluctantly pass on 'reinvigorates', and RestInvigorate or InvigorateRest are so lame in comparison I just couldn't front those ones up. 'Virgin' is a subsequence but I ain't going there. Plus we are one 'n' short of having 'anniet' as a partial either ( *mops brow* ) neither do we quite have 'gary'. FWIW : 'snort' and 'snot' have gotta be worth a run. :-)
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) veerinstigator. Now that I recall : in my flying days I had special shoes with good soles & grip for the pedals. However I was advised to have nice short laces and tuck them in well after tying. There were reported instances of tangling and thus some unhappy muddles in the rudder department. :-(
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

*sigh with disappointment at not being able to use snort AND snot in same "word"*
tagsnotreverii - the delight of recalling a memorable snotting event that you once tagged on facebook... oh yes! :)
