Invalid tasks AMD GPU and Linux kernel 4.14.11

Every task that I completed after updating my kernel to 4.14.11 have been marked invalid.  There are no errors in the stderr output, and the task run-times were roughly the same as before I updated to the kpti patched kernel.

I just updated to the 4.14.12 kernel, and at least so far, the validate errors appear to be fixed.  After successfully validating 0% of the tasks that were crunched on kernel 4.14.11, even the small sample size of 2 valids, 4 pending, and 0 invalid, does point to the updated kernel fixing the validate errors.  There does appear to be a small performance regression with the patched kernel of roughly 3%.  I will monitor it for the next few hours, just to make sure that the invalids do not crop up again.
