That's good news. I ran a couple first GR ones on my GTX970s and the times went from 17.5 minutes to about 11.5 minutes.

[edit] I had to increase the fan speed to 60 & 65% to keep the temperature in control.

Here are some numbers on a

Here are some numbers on a 6900XT running the 1.28 beta application.  The CPU in that machine is not optimal, but it is what I already had on the test bench so that's what I ran with.

 

Performance difference is more or less within the margin of error for task runtimes, with maybe a 1-2% overall loss in performance with the 1.28 beta application.
